ECU's and Turbo's
#32
I received my ECU in the mail and installed it yesterday. Reset the timing after jumping out the 2 pin connector. I found no change in the misfire. I think today I'm going to work on a Go-cart I'm building. maybe tomorrow or Monday (I don't like to work on Sundays) I'll go back over my trouble flow charts and see if there is a sensor in trouble that I have missed. Even though there are no code still in the ECU after driving the car for almost an hour.

Sorry for the long absents, I have been working on finishing my basement workshop. I reinstalled the old ECU and drove the car to see if it would code. The longer I drove it the better it started to run! After putting almost 300 miles on the car it runs great! Same dizzy I started with, same ECU I started with. Darnest think I've ever seen. I guess as long as it's running well there's no need to work on it! LOL. Up to this point, I have installed new plugs, plug wires, rotor button, distributor cap, pulled dizzy completely apart cleaned and realigned all the sensors set the gaps on the pick-ups. Checked the timing belt for wear and checked the mechanical timing. Cleaned and greased all the engine grounds. I guess if it starts to miss again then I'll search some more. Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions. As soon as I get a little more time I'll start a For Sale thread on the 300zx. Thanks
