ok so RonJ, the fuel pump primes, and i bought an extra spark plug and tested all the plugs, and it still doesnt spark. i opened the distributor and it doesnt look like anythings blown or bad. i called my local autozone and they said they cant test ECM's or distributors! also the timing belt isnt snapped. so if you got any other ideas please let me know, but everything seems to be workin its just not getting spark and i have no idea why!

ok that looks like alot of trouble if its the ICM... and i was trying to see how much they would cost by browsing the web and i cant even find any ICM's only coils... would it just be easier and cheaper to just buy a new distributor you think?

First test the coil with your multimeter. Those tests are straightforward.
If the coil tests fine, then call some local auto parts stores to find one that will test the igniter unit for you. While you have them on the phone, also get price comparisons for the igniter unit alone versus the entire distributor.
