crome dyno tuning
so i got some basic q's bout getting dyno tuned. first of all heres my plan im gonna send my p28 ecu to xenocron to get chipped for tuning with crome then im gonna get it dyno tuned lookin for some good places in wisconsin. one place in milwaukee charges 250 bucks no matter how long i takes ther called beeyond engineering anyone heard of em cause they dont look very well organized from there website, but other places charge like 150-200 dollars an hour so my question is how long does it usually take to tune a turbo setup. another question is in order to get tuned all i need to provide is the ecu chipped for crome and of course my car i dont need any chip burning stuff ora laptop they have all that stuff right?

They should have all the necessary tuning equipment there. Just bring your car in, and let them do their thing.
The most important factor in the equation is whether or not your setup is mechanically sound. Go over everything with a fine tooth comb to make sure its all in working order, you don't have ANY leaks anywhere (boost, oil, whatever), etc etce tc..
I saw my tuner 4 times before we actually got to do some good pulls because I had minor issues with my setup.
As long as everything is in full working order, you're holding boost, and theres no major heat issues you should be in and out in 3-4 hours

so at a place that charges 150 bucks an hour it would cost 600 dollars to get a tune then how can the place in milwaukee only charge a 250 dollat flat fee?

That's "their" car, on which they've probably spent TONS of time.

what we learn from our setups whether engine building, tuning, fabrication, etc.... you as the customer benefits.
check out our low 11sec budget build...and then our 10.0 street car build.... both setups took little time to build. it's all about the "know how's"..........
