Default painting forn calipers

i am planning on painting my front brake calipers black, however i do not want to buy brake caliper paint for $50 a bottle. can i use high-heat resistant spray paint instead or maybe another substitute?

50 bucks.... waht kinda stuff you buyen!!!!!!!!

i bought the stuff at autozone... i believe its like 15bucks....

just when doing it be sure to steel wire brush the WHOLE THING GOOD and clean the crap outta it with some brake cleaner.... clean it repeatedly before painting!!!!!!

i did mine and they still look great.... i only have ONE spot on my rotor where i painted it that chipped off....

tho one thing i would like to try is using a metal sander or grinder to smooth the calipers out and then repaint them again...

no... wire brush.... basicaly like a realy hard tooth brush
steel brisles to knock off any rust or loose rust or even dirt....
then with some brake cleaner sprayed all over it several times! wiping it with fresh rags or paper towels until its clean....
then brush or spray on the paint... depending on the area....
