Default circle track car ?

I know circle track, anyways i have built 3 diffrent 4cyl.stock cars.A 81 celica,89 mustang, and 85 merkur xr4ti.The track i race at allows 4 valve motors now so i can finally build a decent car.basic rules are 1.1 pound per cc,any pistons, cam, valve combo.racing gas(they sell 103 at the track).stock fuel, ignition, and intake(they do allow porting)stock computer.body, engine, and fuel injection have to match.I have a mostly stock 95 ex i just bought for gf.That was what gave me the idea of a honda civic mini stock, these cars are great drivers. So i am looking for advice. What model and matching motor would work the best with high compression and stock fuel and ignition systoms.car would only run in the 4500-8500 rpm range.

Can you run an engine from a different car or do you have to run the engine that came with the car? If you can swap in a different engine, I would go for an EG coupe with a B18C1 rebuilt with high compression. If you can't swap in a different engine, you might want to look into getting an Integra GSR.

engine does have to match car,i have to consider cost to.A gsr would be hard to find cheap. It is kind of a bang for your buck thing.Keep in mind there is a weight advantage to running a smaller motor.

the rules are kinda funny, becouse with a carb motor you can use any motor as long as its same make, fuel injected cars have to match car.

I don't think they handle that well though.

That is my dilema, handling.Thats why i am trying to figure out if a 1500cc civic or 1600cc would do better than a prelude with a 2200cc motor. The 1600cc car would be 660lbs lighter than a 2200.Plus a shorter wheelbase is better.
