Your System??
The new cars seem to have a nice sounding system... My new rolla thumps, my friends new Focus (<-- homo car IMO) thumps, but I have never heard the new civis... how do they sound?

Im my 98' civic I had a JL audio 15" suband Infinity Kappa components poweredbya precision power amp (5-channel)

My current ride is still stock, but Im gonna pick up some more Infinity components to get me started

Your System??
I just switched from a stock head unit to an Alpine head, two 10 inch JL Audio subs in a base box, Alipne 6 CD changer, Polk Audio Tweets and a 600 watt amp (I can't remember the brand). I want two more tweets and a EQ.

I've got an insane amount of bass even with the tweets i have. I don't want it to sound all high, but i do want to be able to even the sound out a little more. I'm sure a crossover or a eq would help....

you think more tweets is a bad idea?

to back up what slim said, 2 more tweeters is going to give you too much high end. If the bass is overpowering your system, then turn down the bass.

Does your headunit have a subwoofer level control? Also, does the amp running the subs have a Gain or Bass EQ? If the amp does have one of these, then you can use that to equalize your lows with your highs.

Also, if your amps have built in crossovers, then set the High-Pass Crossover and Low-Pass crossover to the same setting. This will send the lows to the subs and the highs to the main speakers.
