ya alpine and jl are really nice. Alpine makes everything really well especially their radios and amps. but they also make good speakers and subs. and jlmakes reallygoodamplifiers and really loud subs.

i would personally stay away from rockford, unless you are going to get their high end power amps. definetely don't get any of their punch series stuff.
