vr3 amp

Default vr3 amp

im borrowing this piece from some kid to see if my old *** jl auido works but when i hook up the remote wire the red light comes on and i have never got to here any spound yet. every thing else is hooked up right but does the blue remote wire hve to be hooked up to work
i dont knoe what the problem is i think its somthing to do with going to my deck cause i bought the car with all the amp wiring in it.

Well if when you turn on your radio and the amp turns when you do that, then your remote (typically blue 18 guage) is fine. Do you have a solid ground for the amp? Check the fuses?

My protection light was on, it was on cause my in line fuese blew by the battery.

yea the light gets briter when its ground out so i think the fuses are fine but its still not workin
no sound at all

just hook up everything and disconnect the REM line and then take a short piece of wire and connect it from the REM on the amp to the POWER or + or 12V on the amp...whatever urs is labeled as but be sure to disconnect that after u test it or it will leave the amp on al the time even when the car is off and then ur gunna need a new battery...and maybe a new alternator, depending on how long you leave it like that

i figured it out
the person with the car befor dident have a good enogh ground, i dident trace it bac but i jsut made a new place for it and it worked
and will my amp be always on the way i have it hooked up now form tha batery with tha mosnter wire cable thing
