Default use a basslink sub?

so i'm told the amp for my infinity basslink 2blew out...so i have no bass anymore, and needless to say, it sucks. i'm wondering if it would be possible to use only the sub from the basslink in another kind of system. i just really dont want to throw the thing away. let me know if you think that would be a good idea or if i should just go with a whole new system. thanks

definitely... just open it up and go directly to the inputs of the subwoofer. Disconect the current hookups that route to the pre-wired amp just to be safe and you are good to go.

I have a basslink II and I love it... It sounds OK, but the greatest thing is that it takes me all of about 30 seconds and 10 lbs. to disconnect when im at the track. Trunk weight plus track equals bad times haha.
