You guys got me all wrong here. Im an SQ guy. If I wanted a comp amp id find a late 80's zapco or early 90's Rockford to jerry rig and melt batteries.

The Eclipse unit was a STEAL. $549 free shipping. Rarely a decent touch screen costs that little but an Eclipse!? I couldnt punch in my credit card info fast enough. Her eis think link and all the specs! I highly advise you take advangtage of this offer while it lasts. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...B+iPC-106.html

I wuv the ipod and parrot adapters it comes with.

Btw, that Eclipse unit is frickin Heavy!. It weighs almost 10 pounds! Oh yea, im debating on MB quart Premium speakers or Infinity Kappa Perfects.
The subs will be 2 10's of my all time favorite model, the Dayton HO Reference subwoofer. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=295-462 >. Like Ive said on the forum eons back about Dayton, dont let the price fool you. Rumor has it that Peerless actually makes them for Parts Express.

^ Agreed, run away from the light justin.

But also, a car PC runs into a ton of problems especially with tweaking and all that stuff. Sure there are some software like road runner and all but the problem is with the whole car pc thing is that the market is too premature. I have investigated heavily into it but I couldnt find a radio substitute and GPS.

If your truly an SQ guy, why would you go with Kappas? J/w....there are better speakers for sure. And man that IS a steal! That's a pretty awesome HU

Do you have an amp for the front speakers?

Oh and for SQ, how bout ARC audio

Bah, the h/u's cd player seems to be a bum. Now I gotta return it. Oh well. Other than that, the unit sounds absolutely fantastic! Its been quite awhile since I have heard a sound engine as good as the one stashed in this unit.

Anywho, ive decide im gonna go for some Dynaudio components and either 1 JL thin line 12" (12TW5-3) or two kicker 8's (s8c2). Either of the two choices they will be installed in a false floor. The floor will be thinner for the JL but the 8's will require a little more height. I love 8" subs more than anything but I want a super stealth install.... decisions....

Btw, Im not saying what car it will go in because I am getting rid of my F-150 and waiting on the loan to come through.

Trust me, you guys are gonna be excited All Im saying that its a V8 and goes vroom vroom

Speaking of that, anybody want an 07' F150 Reg Cab 4.2 Manual 24k miles/ 31" brand new all terrains/ MB Quart 5x7 reference components/ MTX Thunderform Box (dual 12")/ Sound deadened cab on the cheap? https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...557#post643557

How about Sundown? Or ARC audio? Maybe Audison, Zapco, DLS? Just throwin those out there

Can't say any are better than JBL b/c I actually have no experience, just others....well for now. Just bought a Sundown SAX-125.2!!!

I like the HU and the amp. Eclipse/JBL make good stuff
maybe so only because i find the other brands hard to swallow being that ive never heard them personally no pun intended .
