you might not have the tweeter harness.... the whole harness is different from a model that came with them and one that didnt...

it the plug is not on the door harness then youll have to cut the harness off and simply tie into the harness right next to the speaker.....

The easiest place to find the wires will be from behind the speakers in the door. you will just tap into these wires for the tweeters so that they run off of the same signal as that speaker. You will probably have to take the door panel off to get to the wire.

the wire colors are as follows

Left front
+ green/black
- light green

Right front
+ green/yellow
- gray red

also, make sure you're using crossovers to prevent the tweeters from playing frequencies that it isn't designed to play.

they do make the highs sound alittle better and crisp.. usualy the crossover is inline on the harness from the harness plug.

^Yea as soon as i plugged in my tweeters when i got them, my highs improved so much. Before, my subs were overpowering my highs and I wanted to have better sound quality, but I still wanted bass, so I bought some tweeters and now i can have the best of both worlds.
