The vss is in a connector A (31 pins), pin 18.@ the PCM behind the glove box. The vss is also blue/white at the cruise control module to the left of the steering column.

Just chimed in to let you know where the VSS wire was............too late
Anyway, the D2 I dont belive will play DVDs but Pioneer is coming out with a AVIC-Z1 that is double din and has a built in hard drive and all kinds of cool crap. This one is suppose to lead the indash navi systems for the rest of the year. Pioneers video/nav unit is crazy now with the N3, D2, and the Z1 not to metion the 5700 and the 8 or what ever the basic in-dash video units are. I <3 Pioneer!
