Toggle Switch Ignition HELP!!!!!
My project consists of a (s2000) push button start and two toggle switches. I want to flip the first toggle switch for ACC, and the second toggle switch for everything else. Then I will use the button to start the car. (I know this makes the car easier to steal).
I have succeeded in installing the push button; I know this because if I use my key and then push the button it starts!! When I flip the first toggle switch my ACC's (Radio) comes on and when I flip the second toggle switch my instrument cluster lights come on and it sounds like the fuel pump comes on BUT when I push the button the car just keeps turning over and does not start as if it is not getting fuel or spark... (I guess).
Below is a drawing of how I have the toggle switches hooked up...
What am I missing???
Am I about to set my car on fire???
Both toggle switches are rated 30A 12V and wires are 12 gauge.

Was the S2000 a chip key system? With those the ECU will not let the engine run unless the chipped key is in the keyhole.
That's all the wires that the stock switch has? In the normal run position, all the circuits from the switch should be live except for the starter.
This makes the car super easy to steal. Unless it's a race car that's always kept inside, you should install a hidden kill switch or two so it can't always be started just by flipping the dash switches.

As far as i know the s2000 button i have isn't a part of a key chip system. And at the back of the stock ignition, there are only five wires total. The only wire thats not shown in my picture is the starter wire which goes to the relay for the button.

you said it's a 95 civic?? i have listed yellow is IGN, and black yellow is ACC. if you change to a 96 it adds white/black as second accessory. the other thing you have to keep in mind is that under normal situations, ACC drops to 0v while cranking.

Im using a manual for the color of the wires (which could be wrong), but the book corresponds with the wires that go to the back of the ignition(the white part of the tumbler). On the white part the wires are labled.
