I would say stay away from the cap. And if you have the money buy components for the front. (Sell the rears, save money from the cap and buy decent components).

 

so im pretty sure that 15 will pound!...sweet install. but yes, def. buy componets for the front, you will love them, also be carefull of the magnet size in the front, if you go too big you wont be able to roll your window down all the way.

 

thanks for your help.....components are a good idea i just dont know where to drill for the tweeters....right by the door handle or in the side curtain......what have you guys done??

 

A common place is the a-pillars or the triangle pods behind the side mirrors.

 

i like putting them down in the kicks you get better imaging and if you throw the pass side tweet out of phase
it will usually bring the hieght up to eye level. i think it's a personal prefrence some people like bright tweets and some dont.

 

You have to do some tuning to make kick panels work IMO. I perfer head level for imaging and staging, we will see how well I like it when I put in the horns under the dash, I may keep the tweets to bring up the stage though.
