just one set of comps and a 2 ch amp? just curious why you're not doing four speakers with a 4 ch.

I'm not familiar with AQ (i'm assuming thats the brand), but it looks like its going to sound pretty good!

and that is an amazing head unit. I have the 9886 and love it. i wanted the 9887 but my place of business does not carry it so i stuck with the 9886 on my discount.

Yep, just two speakers. Think about it this way....

If you have speakers in the back of a 4dr, then the sound isn't coming from just in front of you, but behind you too...this pulls the "stage" back and makes the music sound like it isn't quite coming from in front of you. (this happened to me with my last setup)

Now if the whole point of the speaker is to reproduce the music as best as possible, when is the last tim you went to a concert and had the band playing slightly behind you

AQ (AudioQue) is the little brother to DD (digital designs) and makes awesome subs that can get hella loud but sound very decent too The SDC puts the type R, The Rockford T1, and so many other name brand main stream subs to shame.

Yeah, I didn't skimp on the HU god the thing looks soooo sexy!

Yeah......i really should have done it when it was ready to quit for the day but that's ok, i only have like 40 sq ft to fix it

Actually it's not quite throwm around all ***** nilly. only the lower portion ( in the pic) where it sicks out was just thrown on without thinking. covering the center 20-30% is really where you actually get progress and really reduce noise. Covering the rest looks good, but doesn't do much....
