Default Sub toast?

Hey guys, one of my friends has 1 12w3 but he just got another and so we put them both into a box for 2 12's. One of his other friends hooked it up but did a ****ty job so me and this other kid cleaned it up/fixed it and as I was wiring up one of the subs I noticed one of the wires for one of the voice coils had came undone from the cone. Is it repairable? could a car audio place fix it?

a car audio place prolly won't fix it, but you could try soldering it back on. It will prolly work for a while, but its not gonna be as solid of a connetion as it was from the factory. best choice is get a new one

That's what I was thinking about tryin. He doesn't have a soldering iron and we didn't have time to run to my house and do it cause I had to get to work.

Easy to fix, just get a new dust cap. Pop off the dust cap, un solder the wire pull it out and put a new one in and solder back in and CA glue a new dust cap.
