^^ 2 questions- 1. how far are you from chicago?, and 2. when n where are some good DB drags in IL, MI, etc. I have family up there and wouldnt mind taking a weekend away..LOL

thanks for the advice everyone but i'm not sure on what I want to do.I may just leave them out my b/f was looking into alternators with more ampage but they all seem to be 350-400 unless someone knows a place I can go to chicago that specializes in making alternators with more ampage for a reasonable price.

7hrs 40min or 425miles, where is your family? i'll find you a comp close to there.

I recommend you just do the big 3. It should make quite a difference.

all my relatives live in Warren, and new baltimore areas. So basically around detroit.

well i'm not sure about doing that either my car is under warranty and I don't want to void it.

Modifying a car does not void the warranty on the whole car. They can only dishonor the warranty if they can show that your modifications caused the problem. As you've experienced, they already blame your sound system for any electrical problems. Non-electrical failures would still be covered though.

Farad caps make all the difference! 1000 watts and lower= 1 farad. up to 2,000 2 farad and so on. cheap electrical insurance for your car. when grounding to your vehicle chassis strip the paint around the area to be applied to, this will help insure a good ground. also dont forget larger systems= larger wires.

Farad caps make no difference. They won't fix her problem.
