Default Re SE-12 Subwoofer....can it blow my RF P300.1 Amp?

I have a Rockford Fosgate P300.1 mono amplifier. I am wanting to get a RE SE-12 12" 4-OHM Subwoofer. I will bridge the dual coils together for a 2-OHM laod on the amp. It is 600 watts rms and my amp is only 300 watts rms @ a 2-OHM load. My question is....will this subwoofer be too powerful for this amp? Will it blow or hurt this amp?Is it bad to run a 600 watt rms sub on a 300 watt rms amp?

No
think about it
the subwoofer is only a bunch of wound up coil surrounding a tube which is attached to your woofer
it can't harm anything, the amplifier puts a signal through it, and it responds, it has no circuitry etc to damage the amp

The only thing you should look out for is clipping
considering your amp is only half the RMS of what the sub can do for RMS, you might end up cranking up your amplifier's settings or voltages on your HU to compensate, therefore creating clipping
any damage done to the amp or sub, would be solely in the hands of you

Yeah like stated you have a really good sub dont ruin it with a clipped signal. Take it easy on the gain and everything should be fine. I used to have a SE 12 and it was a great SQL sub.

your amp can handle a 2 ohm load, wich is the way your wiring your sub. the only way a sub can hurt your amp, is if its wired for a lower ohm load than your amp can handle, or if there is a short in the voice coils.
