ORIGINAL: Pete

You get what you pay for. ESPECIALLY with electronics.
Unless of course it says "SONY" on it. Then most of what you paid for is the name.

build off, build off, build off.....

Anyway, haven't looked at this thread in a while..

Pyle blows, period.

I had a 20.00 set of pyle 6x9's when i was like 16, and they lasted about 2 weeks on a factory head unit power supply. thats what, 10 watts at that time, back in 97, jeez.

I will however side with Jensen. For cheaper made stuff, they rock, and usualy last quite a while. I am almost positive they are a Sanyo brand, but don't trust me on that.

I have a friend here, that has several show cars for VSonik, I know they are a cheaper end brand, but his 4, 15" subs and 2 1800 watt amps rock my brain inside my skull. Vsonik makes monitors, in dash's and DVD components, if you want to go cheap cheap, at least start there, and move up to brands liks Sony, JVC, Apline, whatever.

Monitors are going to run a pretty penny, but why not buy something that will last. I can get you a deal on Vsonik, MA audio, and Cliff Design stuff as well, as a local friend sells them at his shop. I think he sells clarion and kenwood also.

look in my photobook the visors in my car are on there thats how they should look when ur working with quality products but when with pyle there is only so much you can do to balance the ****ty design and again the placement of the power chord
