RE: putting a ps2?
you will need a power inverter....they sell them really cheap at harbor freight..it takes your cars 12v dc and turns it to 120 ac....you will need a pretty good one so you dont burn your ps2 out...

RE: putting a ps2?
i would want mine to be all 'integrated' and such so what i would do is cut the end of the power cable from the sony and connect it to the battery and put a switch on it. so u flick the switch , and it gets power from the battery. not completely sure, but im pretty sure you would need to throw a fuse on that power line a few inches from the battery.

so will that one that you showed me work? i dont want to catch anything on fire or anything like that....and i dont want to have connections like that either. i guess ill just have to cut the jumper cable looking connections off and wire it straight to the battery...positive/negative?

yeah you can hard wire it..i had one under my dash for a while to plug my mp3 charger into but i took it out cause i broke that mp3 player. They are pretty strong..the one i had powered a 13" regular tv (not lcd or plasma, just regular) and an xbox and i think it was only rated 120W...
