Default Problem with iPod Shuffle In 09 Civic Si

my shuffle wont play in my 09 civic si.

it keeps popping up as unsupported someone help?

what generation shuffle is this? how is it unsupported? doesn't the shuffle not use ipod connection and uses the 3.5mm headphone jack?

its the newest shuffle I just bought it apple the other day but the end of the headphone jack its the usb and it connects to what I have in my car but the screen just pops up unsuported

it pops up as unsupported... probably because it is unsupported

well if its the normal ipod connectors then there is an attachment that you can get to fix that. since its a usb i dont think there is a way to have your system support it. the only other thing you can do is probably just get a 3.5mm cable and plug it in the aux jack. if your car has one.

how the hell is the shuffle not being supported but when I had the iPhone it worked just fine

The shuffle is a lot different iPod compared to all of the others
