Default Partial Coverage with Dynamat

I ordered on 18 x 32" sheet of Dynamat for my 1998 Civic. I cant really afford any more than that at this time. I figure I will put one 18 x 16" sheet in each door which (obviously) isn't going to give full coverage to the door. My objective is to reduce road noise more than improve my stereo sound quality (stock speakers with a Xplod deck). Do you think it will make any difference since it doesn't cover the whole door and which part of the door should I do to maximize the road noise reduction?

It will make a little difference. Nothing to drastic though. I covered my entire car in tsunami silencer (just like dynamat) and it improved sound quality in my stereo, but not so much in road noise.

if you're more concerned about the road noise, i would put in on the floor. cuz thats where most of the sound is coming from.
