Default Panasonic Head Deck any GOOD?!?

Hey guys,

I have been deciding on what head deck to get for my 96 civic. Before i was tossin' between Alpine and Pioneer, but the other day, i came across a really cool looking Panasonic with adjustable tilt. The link for it is: Here . Has anyone ever used a panasonic b4? are they any good?!?

The reason i am interested in this panasonic is because for the same price, i can only get a really basic pioneer or alpine. I want something more flashy and cool lookin'... so yeah... i'ld appriciate ur comments.

thanx!

Hey guys!

Well, the price is in Australian dollars soo i dun think it is too expensive. I know i can get the price down from $479 to $350. Is that still worth it? i am afraid to order off ebay, because shippin from america costs heaps and i am afraid that the radio frequencies are different. there are heaps of ebay australian ads warning that the american head decks frequencies are different, and will not work properly... anyone know stuff bout this?

thanx

Actually that looks like a good deal... 5v pre-outs is the way to go.

5 volt pre-amp outs are teh hottness. Panasonic makes some bitchin head units. I've had mine for 2 years and had no problems yet. Everyone else thinks it has a cool display too

For high quality sound on a budget, and to match your stock interior lights AND look factory, Remmy reccommends the Nakamichi CD-400.

its silver .. the great thing about that head unit is off the panasonic website you can download a program and convert pics to a format so u can actually load it on ur headunit u can also load a 19 second video clip as the screen saver as well... i love my 8300u, im not sure about the frequencies but mine goes from like 87 mhz to like 107 mhz and an AM band, it plays cd-r's and cd-rw's, in mp3 or wma format and i hooked my laptop up to the Aux rca plugs and it sounded pretty nice off the laptop..
