I have a question about the tweeters. Where did you find those pods for the tweeters? They don't look stock. My boston tweeters were never installed because they are about 1/4" smaller and I have yet to find any aftermarket pods that would fit that size.

those tweeter pods are stock EX mirror covers....
if ur tweeters are to small try using the trim pieces that came with your tweeters to make them fit.....
i used one of the trim pieces that came with my tweeters to make them fit snugly.... i didnt use the rear locking washer tho since i didnt need to.
and heres a picture of my stock tweeters...
mine match stock very nice. only difference in looks is my outter ring on the tweeter is alittle wider than the stock tweeters.

Sorry for just getting to this... been working on the car.
The CDT tweeters just dropped right into the pods, but I had to cut the notch that kept the stockers from rotating. I was even able to utilize the same factory screw after I pulled the back plate off of the TW-25 tweeters!

Quick update. I changed the subwoofer amp out this week and I installed a 25 to Life Punch 150 and set it to give my dd1010 600 watts RMS @ 75% volume with a 50 Hz test tone at a 4 ohm mono load.
This is the Punch 150's birth sheet power rating:
I don't notice that much of a difference over the P5002 volume output wise, but it appears that distortion from the subwoofer is non existent now whereas before I would hear distortion @ high volume on certain songs.

Nice, clean, and clear with minimal rattle. I don't know how I managed to pull this off, but my front mid stage sounds much higher than it actually is and when I close my eyes, it appears that my whole front stage is much wider than it actually is! I am very impressed with the sound of this budget build!
When my cousin brings my car back, I will post some photos of the trunk, even though it is nothing to write home about... yet!

The sound does come from the front, but it is just hard to explain. Basically, knowing where the speakers are placed versus where the sound is coming from, kind of blows my mind! Regardless, my Civic has to be one of the best sounding vehicles with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon that I have ever installed a sound system in and it was a "budget" build!

Finally took a photo of my trunk:
As I said, nothing to write home about, but it does the job
ETA: Here is a sneak peek at what is to come:
A monster 8" build is on the docket!
