More Bass....with less bulk than my dual 12's?

No. A good 12 will hit just as hard as a 10. This is totally arbitrary. an 18 can hit harder/quicker/ more accurately than a 10 if it has a better installation.
Again, just no. You should not look at pioneer for subs. Fi car audio, SSA, Incriminator Audio, AQ, DD, Sound Splinter, Mach5 are some companies of the top of my head that are worlds better (at least when it comes to woofers)
.
2 subs will be LOUDER, not necessarily better sounding or worse sounding...
Yes. the install is much more important that the equipment.
I'd say go with a 10 or two just cause room will be tight.
.
ok the newbs to car audio need to shut up now.
how loud subs are, depends 90% on the install. 75% of the install being the box that they are in. can a single 10 be louder than your 2 12's sure but in the correct environment for a pair of 12's and a pair of 10's the same brand and same car the 12's will be louder because of the simple fact that they have more cone area which means more air movement.

... Thats why i said Great sound for a low price, i know theres alot better out there, but honestly for the price these are great, and Pioneer does make a good product.

Incriminator audio 187 = 120
SSA DCON 10" = 115
AQ SDC2.5 10" = 130
a bit more expensive, but not as much as a champion.
SoundSplinter orphan 8 8" = 145
BTW a champion is 189

Stick with the MTX's and just give them the power they want.
some amps to look at
it's a 2 chan, but it'll work

the ARC audio or the Sundown is probably your best bet. Both are very high quality and not very expensive.

I think this is the amp I have now.

So I would need more than 120 watts.

I'm just saying that Pioneer or other similar subwoofers aren't terrible and can still sound decent, just not show quality. To someone who wants show quality sound, of course those will be garbage to them. But all that most people want is something that sounds decent and adds some bass, which a Pioneer subwoofer would be fine for. Everyone who is hardcore into audio seems to talk so much trash about anything that isn't amazing and they act like everyone needs to go big or go home, and it gets kind of old.

Honestly I could probably shrink my box right, add more wattage to the speakers and be set with my current subs correct? Would I really notice more quality bass with some other subs? I WON'T be buying them new unless they are on ebay. I save a lot by doing that when I buy stuff.
