Default Losing presets and time

I dunno why, but all of a sudden my Alpine head unit is losing all of its presets and the clock resets every 3rd or 4th time I shut the car off. I can reset them but they'll just disappear again. If it was a fuse or loose wire, I could understand. But I made this setup pretty solid from the beginning and haven't touched it in years. Any ideas? Head unit finally getting old?

could be head unit, could be memory fuse under hood going bad, could be loose connection on the yellow wire feeding the HU at the harness.

Under hood fuse is good. Checked it when I was clearing a CEL. Wires were soldered when I installed the head unit so I wouldn't think its a loose connection. Installed the thing in my first Civic back in 2005. Have moved it twice. Might just be time to move on.

It could be a weak battery or bad connections to the battery or main ground wire. That could cause a memory loss because the system voltage drops too low for a moment when you start the car.

Most aftermarket head units draw all their operating power from the yellow wire, so if you had completely lost power to the yellow wire it wouldn't work at all.
