Default kick panels

bought q forms kick panels for my ride and found out that they fit only 5 1/4 speakers, is there any way i can modify them to fit 6 1/2 speakers?
5 1/4 spears are rare and expensive. any1 had any experience with the q forms kick panels?

5 1/4 are just as common as 6 1/2. If you absolutley wanted to, you can get a sabor saw with a very fine thin blade on it and cut out a bigger hole.

There is a big difference between 5 1/4 and 6 1/2. You may have to cut out alot of material.

You should be able to find just about any speaker you want in 5 1/4 though. At least if its made in 6 1/2 anyway

I would stick with the 5 1/4 they generally are deisgned for clarity.. well, most of the REALLY high end stuff (things like $1k for a pair and most likely you havent heard the names) manufacturers tend to like making 5 1/4's anyway.

yeah, i was able to find 5 1/4 speakers but they cost a lot and besides that the head of the speaker might be too big and not going to fit in the kickpanel
