So, I purchased the Autoloc CK2000 automatic door lock system and installed it on my 02 Civic DX.. took a long time (especially when I can only work on it when it's not RAINING!) with a lot of modifcation but it finally works.. now I am trying to setup the Keyless entry to flash my parking lights whenever I hit the button, which is a feature it says it can do. Looking at the wiring diagram I am a little confused.. I think I have to buy the Autoloc RA800 relay for it to work, but I was just curious if anyone knows how I can go about doing it without the relay?

it's very simple, do you have that kl400 orange wire comming out of your door lock system? if so, you just need to purchase a 5$ bosch relay and connect it like in the picture, make sure to check if your car has a negative trigger, if so you'll have to change the 30 pin on the relay and connect it to ground.

 

yeah, the relay wasn't that expensive, probably around the same price.. I just was wondering if it could be done without a relay?

 

nope, you need the relay cause the parking lights is too much of a load for the orange kl400 wire, so you need the relay.
