Keeping door speakers dry

Keeping door speakers dry
I'd like to keep the moisture off of my door speakers. Unfortunately the plastic membrane in the door doesn't protect the back of the speakers. I know all about the foam baffles, but don't want to decrease the excellent sound quality I'm getting with my new speakers.
Was wondering about getting a foam baffle, cutting it in half, and then gluing it over top of the small hood on the back of the door panel to shield the speakers a bit more. Any other ideas/thoughts/suggestions?

Ended up having some foam baffles thrown in at lunch time, It's a little on the cold side today so it's hard to get a true idea of the sound today vs yesterday when it was much warmer. Either way, they'll now be clean/dry.
