dynamat or tsunami silencer. People will recommend stuff from eaby, but don't listen to them. I used dynamat and tsunami for most my car, and it worked great. Then I bought some stuff off of ebay, horrible. Spend the money, and get good stuff.

why is your inline fuse in the back? that should be under your hood cause if you get a short along the run to the back, you wont be protected and the wire might heat up and start a fire.

DITO!!!!! you beter have one upfront right next to your battery!
im not gonna judge till ya tell us why its thier.LOL
cause im running one in the rear as well... BUT thats cause my power wire was to short and that was the easiest way to extend it
worked just great for me
but it looks like you got pleanty wire back thier!
ya need to make sure you have one infront ASAP! cause if that power wire shorts out on ANYTHING on its way to the trunk... its gonna fry your car and then you beter get out your marshmellos cause its gonna be COMPLETE TOAST!!!!!!

BUT also i should say for the dynomat.... FIRST find out what is actualy rattling!!!!!!
with just that you shouldnt have much rattling at all!
im pushen a 12 with 1200watts and only rattle i had was the trunk trim plate and liscence plate... and those can be fixed with the cheap stuff!
i used some 12dollar peel and seal stuff from menards.. think its like gutter guard or something.
and tho i still have alittle rattle from my liscence plates lower mounting point... i just havent slaped any foam strips on it yet...

but if you want to spend that much money go right ahead.... its your money!
but if 15bucks can fix it instead of 100bucks ro so... which would you rather spend?

and i also used dynomates EXTEREM lisce plate kit... cause i won it afew years ago at a stereo comp with my trucks stereo and never needed it till i got the civic.... and lets just say it didnt work at all!. and i refuse to use thier plate cover... that just screams... I GOT A NICE SYSTEM STEAL ME!

this was my problem area

only thing i have to do now is get some camper shell foam strips and pull the liscence plate again and just apply it to the back of the liscence plate. and its all self adheasive so its all easy as peel off a backing paper and sticking them on

the wood pieces im gona carpetm and make it look better.

i put the fuse back there cause lyk addiction i had NO wire to spare. but i have more now cause i re-wired the whole car (through my center console, under the carpet and out the back seat which was a a pain the a$s) ill most lykly re-locate it soon enough.

the rattle is from my trunk not closing tight enough, and hardly any license plate ratle, but my rear light inside the car rattles and hits the window along with my rear side panels.

im only pushn 200W so it sounds lyk nothing from the outside but on the inside for just 200W its got some kick to it.

another question, the silve part on my left sub has a crack in it and prety big (one side to the other) i bought it from a friend and he put a bunch a scotch tape behind and it holds it good. he says tht the speaker will be fine and tht the crack has nothing to do with the sound. ofcourse im gona replace it as soon as i get the money but do u guys think tht itl last for a fare amount of time?

so the silver cone part is cracked....
i got a preaty easy fix for ya.... first use some tape over the front of the sub... and be sure its pressed down good and tight... then from the backside use some 60second clear epoxy...

then just put it on the back of the subs coen where the crack is... and amin after its applied peel the tape off the front of the subs cone.... she will work perfect for as long as the voice coils are good...

thats just cosmetics... i dont see any problem with it.

but for the trunk rattling.. dynomat wont help your problem very much..... simple fix for you is to loosen the trunks latch move it down alittle bit and it will tighter which should eliminate the rattling..... REALY SIMPLE.....
just keep adjusting it as tight as you can with it still latching
ya might have to just slam the trunk alittle harder
that alone should solve your rattling issues.... and it wont cost you a think! just 5-10mins....
