how to remove stock head unit?
i have a 1999 honda civic ex coupe. i am going to purchase a new headunit and i was going to install it myself. i was wondering if anyone could tell meor send me a diagram on how to remove the stock headunit. ive heard of using "din tools". ive also read that removing the "central control console" does the trick(im not sure how to do that). i can send pictures of my car if necessary.
thnx,

Ok here you go, here's the diagram on removing the 99 radio/console:

I guess the forum is still having problems because it won't let me embed them so there's the links to the pictures. Basically, once you get it out, unplug everything and then there's like 1 little screw on each side and then the cd player should come out.
Btw, can a moderator please this a stickie or something, I can't tell you how many times this question has come up.
