Default How do I turn off the navigation "disclaimer message"?

Hey guys, I just got a 2006 Civic with navigation system. I love it, but it's really annoying that you have to go through the disclaimer screen every time you start the car, just to use the navi system. Pushing the "OK" button is getting old.

Is there any way to turn off the disclaimer screen?

Thanks

There arent too many 06 SI's around this forum yet, Welcome to the forum though. Is there a way to get into the "Settings" on the navi menu?

There is a discussion going on at http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/showt...5&page=5&pp=25 about this very subject.
I've only had my Hybrid for two weeks and I'm already tired of pressing OK. Especially when the car doors were not opened.
My own website has a summary of what I've tried so far: http://www.guicide.com/cars/2006civic/nav/hacks/

Sounds really annoying whenever you see that message on the screen, I may hate it too. Also have the same car but remove the whole navigation system coz it's no use to your country.

Navigation system is quite useful whenever you have trouble looking for the destination, however this problems can bug the driver and it's no use for using the stuff should have remove the additional component in the first place

I can just remove the whole thing and run it over! Hate electronic stuff whenever it malfunctions for not working properly, Honda should have put ASIMO instead! LOL This navigation system I guess is intended for the European version of civic.

well that goes for in gps, navigation system you use. and how often do you use your navigation system. because in my girls 04 accord, we barely use the navigation, so we hit the audio button and it goes to the audio screen.
