What harness are you speaking of? There are alot of them to choose from. Main ignition harness? At the key or down the fusebox area. More specific info needed.

there are wires cut around the fuse box areathey are leading toward the back of the car. im assumming those wires are for taillights, fuel pump etc.. i have most of the wires attached through the rest of the car. im trying to get to a junkyard to look at another civic and see what i can tell from there.

You can look around to see if you can match up colors and stripes, but make sure they are all the same size and color. If you can't do it that way the other best way is to test for continuity using a digital 12 volt multimeter (which you can get at wal-mart, Innova was a good one), set it on the setting that most resembles a speaker and test fromthe end of thefuel pump wiring going into the fuel pump with one lead(under rear seat probably)and then testing the wires in your cut harness with the other leadand listen for the meter to beep. Do not hook up any wires that you cannot test. If thats not possible, see a mechanic or other ASC/MECP certified technician. Good luck hope that helped some!

If you have access to a parts car, switch the whole harness out. You will have to pull the dashboard to do that, which actually isn't as complicated as it sounds. Even if you're going to splice the wires it will be a lot easier to see and do it with the dash out.
