+1 6x9s = teh suck.


you realize that the stock speakers are 15 rms cause that all the head units puts out right? Getting a high end pair of speakers and hooking them up to just about any head unit, stock or aftermarket, is like putting four spare donuts on a gallardo. Not gonna work well

The speakers your getting don't need to much power, so they should sound better than stock. You could lose some midbass output though....

 

why replace your front speakers with 6x9s...

but yeah i snipped my wires, wasnt to bad to deal with.

 

i bought 6.5" round speakers not 6x9..

and i didn't cut the clip thats what i did...

 

thats exactly wat happened... i didnt feel any difference in sound after putting in the new speakers.. the head unit sucks.
but now what i did i put in one door the old stock speaker and in the the other door the new pioneer it working better than having two high quality speakers ..
