i wanna run a system in my minivan.. pioneer 4700 head unit...
im getting 2 visonik 12 inch subs in a band pass box.. with a 300 w visonik amp..
now.. i was looking on crutchfield and they have a capacitor for 129 bucks its a 1.5 farad

No they do nothing for you, it is a band aid in other words if you are having electrical issues fix them right. BTW dont get those subs give me a price range and I will put a system together for you alot better than that.

i just really want subs.. i dont care about performance.. i just really wanted to know if i woulda needed a capac... the system already kinda dims the lights when its on..and the cars not running..and my stock speakers are way loud enough.. but im not getting enough of that heartstopping beat... just lil pushes now and then... my lic plate rattles like a babydoll being thrown by a 3 year old though

id love to say i would...BUT I HATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE rockfords... with a damn passion... i had 2 stage 1 10s and they did ****..and my friend even tryed to amp them out with a 600 w.nothing..
they were garbage speakers.. and i wont get punch stage 1s... sorry dude.. although thats a decent price.. i got 2 stage 1s for half that last june....boxed

Look at some extreme's they make amps and subs. That what I have and I like them. You can't beat the price and they are made by Directed so they got a good name backing them.
