fuses
i ran a 4gauge wire from the battery through the fire wall and then under my seat where then i put a non fuse distribution block, from there i ran wires that go to accsessorise..now the question is, i put fuses were the wires from the accessorise go into the distribution block, is it nessesory to put a fuse on the 4 gauge wire ?? i pretty sure i dont because the accessorise are fused already before it goes into the distribution block so if anything happeds, thos fuses will be poped

RE: fuses
and the answer is: AAAANNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKK!!!! Always fuse your main wire. Reason being there could be a short in it and mess up your battery. Also, fuses arent always a garuentee that your equipment is safe, its like a condom, use at your own risk. However fuses almost always protect your equipment, there could sometimes be a snaffu. My advice, better safe than sorry, fuse that main lead.

RE: fuses
The fuse under the hood is only there to protect the wire.
A fuse anywhere else is to protect the device it powers, which like some1 said doesnt always work, like a condom (what do you call someone eho pulls out for birth control?..................Dad)
Ive seen fuses melt together shorted.
Unfuse power wire + wire rubbing metal= FIRE[sm=badbadbad.gif]
