well you might hear the difference if you running RCA on the same side with the power cable or if you RCA is not twisted and regular radioshack rca and ur alternator is making a whining noise, i actually saw using more expensive cables making a big difference.

how do you twist the rca cable from radioshack?
the twist should have a certain step which is calculated based on the diameter and type of the carrier used in the cable.

yea theyre insulated better.
it got nothing to do with insulation, twisted pair provides protection from interference based on the electromagnetic field it radiates. insulation is just a plastic and does not protect from electromagnetic waves. you probably thinking about the structure of the coaxial cable, that one got the copper shield around the main carrier. this one provides even better protection than twisted pair but its too thick and it does not bad as good, but i heard people using some type of coax cable to connect head unit to the amp.

umm, just a ?....why are you dynamating your car in the first place? it sounds like for a system?? but ...if your system involves a small 200 watt system, there is no reason to be matting your whole car...especially the front behind the dash. alot of work with no purpose. just somethin to think about..

i dont think i will do under the dash but definetly the floor, doors and the trunk, my system would be around 1700 Watts and i dont want to spend all this $ to hear the rattling

its going to be all alpine
i'm going to use mrv f545 for my speakers and mrd 1005 for my subs. so total is going to be 1500
