Deck Question
I have a JVC KD-6310 deck in my car, right now I'm in the process of buying speakers and a two sub enclosure. What kind of amp/amps would I need to power that, and is my deck good enough for that? (not looking to buy anything comeptition loud, just something that sounds decent in my CX).

uh, it depends what speakers and subs you are buying.
Are you buying speakers, subs, and an enclosure? or did you mean subs when you said speakers? because you didn't mention the actual subwoofers
anyway, we need more details on what you are buying to be able to help

Ya sorry, I'm buying 2 subs to put in the enclosure. I'm not sure what kind of subs I'm buying yet, I'm just searching around kijiji and craigslist for 2 subs w/enclosure for roughly $150. I just found 2 Rockford Fosgate P1 10's for $140, thinking about that (I wanna hear them first obviously). The 6x9's are I think 40 RMS each, and the 6 1/2's are 30RMS each.
Would my deck be able to support my speakers, and then I'd just need a mono amp for the subs? Or am I gonna need two amps?

You could use your deck to power your other speakers and just be prepared to purchase an amp later on, unless you want to do it all at once. The first system I ever installed for myself was radio power to the dash and deck speakers with two 8" Pyle Driver subs driven mono off of a Punch 75 (that benched at 350 RMS bridged) way back in 1989. That setup sounded pretty good, until I switched to 12" subwoofers.
A word of warning though... Car audio can be addicting. I am about to turn 36 and I still appreciate a good clean sound! I won't even tell you how many amps I have laying around....

If your deck has a high pass filter for the main speakers, engage it after you install the subs. Then the front and rear speakers won't be pushing any bass (they don't need to), which greatly reduces the amount of power required. It should be sufficient to stick with the head unit amplifiers for them.
