Fujitsu Ten ( Eclipse) makes AWESOME stuff.. I must agree though, the combo of road vibration, and lots of bass, is probably to blame ( laser is probably misalligned now) , even though I now am using Alpine in my car, I still give Eclipse MAD props though.. still my favorite head units. Will probably get an in-dash DVD player/screen unit within the next year, and that will be Eclipse. BEST sounding head units IMHO. I owned an Eclipse unit for about 5 years and never had a problem with it until the volume buttons wore out! ( it was made PRE- the ***)
Anyhow.
Good luck on the new head, hopefully you'll have no problems with it.

Lost the bid to the nice alpine... but stumbled on this at the alst second! Ive always wanted one but didnt wazn to pay for one. Now I got it CHEAP! And the D/A converter pretty much stomps on all alpines and pioneers...including its analog proccessor.

Cool.. lemme know how it works out. I would like to pick one up as well. Gotta fix my car first though ( It appears I have the infamous "Main Relay" problem right now.. either that or a bad fuel pump (or clogged filter) Will not start at all, and jsut died in the middle of an intersection yesterday.. lol had to push it up a mild hill, by myself with flip-flops on.. LOL
Anyhow.. sorry to put that in your thread.. that head unit looks badass though..

Yeah its much better to have the rubber wear out, rather than the volume buttons wearing out on the older Eclipse units.. lol nothing like being able to turn up the volume, and not turn it down at all..
