Default Cracking Speaker Help????

Hi
When i turn my sterio to 0 or all the way off the speaker makes a cracking sound then stops. It is not the speaker itself for sure. Also the wiring is done correct. What could it be???? Plz get back to me THX

are u sure the wiring is all ok? i mean, did u check every length of the wire?

if so then my only guess would be a bad signal

Its called a 'thump' if you ever have read some specs on an amp its will say (on most newer amps) either "soft thump" or "soft start"

If this is a full range speaker then it sounds like your speaker has a loose wire, or maybe it is touching a ground when in place. Make sure u check the speakers terminals. Are these stock speakers and headunit?..........check the connection behing the head unit. For amplifiers you can use this device to eliminate that annoying amplifier POP turn on sound. (ive got 1 for my Rockford amp)
