Default Computer, AC, Glovebox question.

Working on a friends SI (2002 Hatch)and wondering if anyone knows where we could run some tubing off the AC to get a constant stream of cold air that wont shut off or get hot when the AC is off or heater turned on. We're installing a laptop in his glovebox area and are concerned about cooling issues. It would be easy enough to install a small duct fan, just so long as the airflow is constantly cold.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance!

All you need to do is get a computer case fan controller and two fans. Put the in a push pull configuration, and set the temp on the controller. Just make sure that the fans are on either side of the laptop.

One of the good things about the fan controllers, is the run on 12 volts. No mods needed to make it work.

ya just wire in some cooling fans into the ignition that way when the cars turned on the computer will have cooling fans running.....

i wouldnt do the AC thing cause in the winter the heat will be blowing... as well as only controled by your air speed setting you have the car set on.... plus any condenation that the AC can make.....
