Default components vs. full range speakers

are components that much better than full range speakers? never heard components b4 and i was thinking of getting some 6 1/2's for the front of my car. how do you set up components? where do you put the crossovers?

Yes, components are better. How much better is up to you. Ususally with a Civic if you're mounting the tweeters on the door you'll want to mount the crossovers in the door so you don't have to run anymore wire in there. Trust me, getting another wire into the door of a Civic is HUGE PITA. If you're mounting the tweeters in the kick panel or on the A-pillar just stick the crossovers were ever you want.
