Changer Question...
Hey guys,
Well my 1980 hatch bit the dust, so I've recently become the proud new owner of a '97 Civic DX Coupe. One of the nice things I got with my new civic is an Alpine CD changer. Unfortunately, the head unit I want to put in the car is a Clarion, with the CeNet changer control. Is there anybody out there that makes cross-brand changer adapters? I don't want to have to spend the money on a new Clarion changer if I don't have to. Not to mention pulling out the old changer cable and installing a new one.
Also, what's with all that plastic molding behind where the stock speakers mount in the front doors? My Infinity 6.5" speakers won't fit unless I cut it all out. Is there any problem with doing that?
Thanks,
-Brad

RE: Changer Question...
I guess I will have to learn how to burn mp3 cd's. My nephew has an 07 Si coupe and does that. I guess the cd changer is a waste of $$$ HUH? Maybe spend the $$$ on upgrading the speakers? But with what may I ask? Thanks ahead of time! Jeff
