Default CD player diagram

I tried to click on the sticky "Diagram" thread, but no pictures loaded up. Basically iv got a 98' Accord, with an aftermarket JVC CD player (came when i bought it). Im not huge on perfect sound ect. So i dont want to buy a new CD player. But the CD player dosnt come on now, unless i hit "display" it shows the time for about 3 seconds, then shuts off. I can also insert and eject CDs and the display turns on during this. So im guessing the wiring is right, not sure. If anyone has a diagram though, it would be much help, thanks.

Sounds like it is thinking the ignition is off all the time. Check the "radio" fuse under the dash and the "backup" fuse under the hood. Pull the player out of the dash and check for power on the red wire going into the unit (nearly all aftermarket systems use the same wire color code, and there should be a sticker on the unit explaining the function of each wire).

The red wire should be live when the key is on. The yellow wire should be live all the time.
