Question Which car alarm is best?

I have recently started looking for nice middle priced alarm (not spending more than $250) I was planning on buying a viper alarm system since they say it's a trusted brand but my friend said that viper was known to be defective and that this alarm called automotive is better than viper so now I'm all confused. Can someone give me some tips?

That's what I'm looking for, remote start with 2 way pager but also good range bc I tend to park pretty far from where I live. Idk if I'm asking for too much since the budget is low

While not an alarm, I have Viper keyless entry and remote start, and it works great. I recommend Viper. Any DEI product should be good, but if I remember correctly, Viper is one of their better product lines.

For the money you're looking to spend, Viper or Clifford for sure. I've never had issues with my Viper (six years and counting)

the claim for this system is a 1 mile distance. which i think is one of the better distance system compare to the other models from clifford and viper. there is also an equivalent from viper and pretty much the only difference is the brand

but also remember the best security system is not about how much or you paid but how good and stealth the install is
