Okay now I got a cap into the equation, I know its supposed to go near the amps but should I put it on before the power block or after, and thereby only my amp for the subs would be getting the cap juice.

Also: I remeber reading a article when I first got into messing with my sound that the cap and amps should have their own ground but on the instructions for the cap it said to put the amps grounds into the caps negative and the caps negative would be a ground for the amps and the cap itself.
Which is the correct way?

IMO if you havent opened up the cap yet id take it back and get your money back. caps are pretty worthless! your better off to spend that 100bucks on a new battery for the car.
