bass rumble

Default bass rumble

hey everyone i have 2 12 mtx 6000s but i have a little problem there is a slight rumble at all times when the system is on even if i pause it is still there i really dont mind it that much but everyone else who gets in my car does my system would be pretty nice if i could get rid of this rumble anyone know what it could be i just rewired with 4 guage wire to try to help this and it did nothing

Its interference. Make sure your ground is good. Actually infact, if you can show me the ground with a pic and or describe it and I will hlep you solve it.

i dont have the cam tonight but its just under the carpet and wood it looks like the place that installed it just made a new hole and bolted it down it didnt do this rumble till after i upgraded my system thanks for the help tell me if you need more info
HERE IS ABOUT WHERE THE BOLT IS THE BEST I COULD DO PIC WISE

the paint is still there this is a dumb question but would that do anything i thought i heard that it should be bare metal thanks again

could be your problem, yeah, it should be bare metal, less than 3ft. and at least the same gauge thickness (if not thicker) as your power wire.

yep....
clean off all the paint around the grounds mounting point realy good!!!!!!!
thats the number one problem with rumbling and such turn on and off thumps...

ALSO ugrade your factory ground wires! the factory wires are realy small!

if u have bluetooth on your cell phone and its on that interferes withalmost every electronic device that i own.. so if u have bluetoothu could be hearing interference from that, and yes it does make noise even when the stereo is muted or paused..

sand the paint from around the ground with sand paper put back the ground, also make sure what u are using to sclamp the ground wire down wiuth, wether it be an O ring or such, is clean also, GL

thanks for all the help ill try that tommorow but has anyone herd of the rca's being the cause of this my friends dad is a electrition and he said this could be the prob but im just douple checking before i go out and spend 60-100 on some good rca's

could be, but i would think if the rca's would be the problem it might sound more like interference.
