So i have a96 Civic Ex. I juist swapped out my system, and now im convinced i have the loudest civic around. I now have two 12" Pioneer Premier comps (3000 watts each), and two Rockford fosgate P500.2 amps, one amp running each sub. My enclosure is a Q-Logic QB-212.4. It looks badass. Google it. I have a 5 farad cap wired in, the Power Acoutik PC.5C model. Mainly 4 quage scosche wiring (power/ground), 10 guare Scosche speaker wire. Headunit is a JVC KD-PDR50. Interior speakers are Alpine Type R's, SPR-57C 5x7" in the rear deck and SPR-17C 6.5" speakers in the front doors. There is a seperate Alpine crossover running each interior speakers. I'm not sure of the mocel of the crossovers, but i'll post it when i find out. But yeah anyways, i think i got the most banging **** around here, and it's all crammed into a little civic. :-)

 

3,000 watts of power per sub? What?!?!

the 500.2 amps are not givig the subs 3000 watts each

that amp is 500x1 watts RMS when bridged so together u have 1000 watts of bass

that 3000 is most likely PEAK power...LOL

and only 4gauge.... hell i got 1run per power and ground all the way to the rear with 1/0 gauge wiring... SOME FAT STUFF.... but nope im not the loudest for sure... but im worken on geting loud as F***
one 12inch sub REaudio SX, which was powered by a orion D2400 which is a 1200watt RMS amplifier. but i sold it and downgraded while i try and upgrade my system... but now since i know my headunit was the problem before with my low bass and its swaped out im just gonna up the watts to ruffly 1500watts rms... and if i upgrade the sub it will be with a 12inch FIaudio BTL fully loaded......

just dont brag about you think yours is the loudest.... or im SURE someone will just crank thiers up and shut ya up

ive done it pleanty of times and also had it happen to me pleanty of times!


but IF YOU REALY WANNA KNOW "ABOUT" HOW LOUD YOU ARE.... buy a little cheap meter
www.splmeter.com around 150bucks..... or look on ebay for the occational cheap one that pops up for ruffly 90bucks like i did..... it wont be completly accurate BUT its a great test/tuning tool and to mess around with with friends

that way when ya do go to a real competition then youll know exactly what solg or bass note to play for your loudest posible score! cause you can NOT judge your score by ear..... some low bass notes sound LOUD AS F*** BUT when poped onto a spl meter.... they realy arent that loud.... and when its a comp or braging rights... the numbers matter





but 177bucks a month for insurance..... dam you musta had some wrecks or alot of tickets on your record! OUCH.....

I think my Caddy got everyone beat lol, guess that don't count since this a Civic forum haha. Anyways 4 gauge wire....your probally running 1200watts at most. Also why do you have crossovers if you don't have components? I could go on but I'm tired lol.

 

O and before you ask on the Caddy......2 12" loaded BLs, 4.8 cubes @ 32hz, powered off 2 sundown saz1500s strapped @ 1ohm ... 4 runs of 0 gauge from the front of the car to the rear.
