Default Advice for upgrading my '06 2dr Civic EX

Hey folks,
I am hoping to get some advice on upgrading my audio system on my '06 Civic EX 2dr.

I currently have the factory navigation and "premium audio system" installed on my car. I was told that even though I upgraded to the "premium" system, that it still has paper cones, which I am not sure I believe. I am trying to figure out some base specs on what I have currently have so that I don't end up actually downgrading my system.

My second question is that I really like the current GPS/CD/MP3 player that it came with, and I'd really like to keep it. So beyond that, what components should I be looking to get? Do I even need an AMP? I'm not looking to get insane base or an overly loud system, I just want to great rich, full music!

Thanks in advance!

Default speakers

If you don't want an amp or a ridiculous subwoofer or anything like that I would argue that you'd be happy with just replacing the speakers with some of higher quality or louder whichever you want(You may need an amp as well, as the stereo may not be able to run the louder speakers), you shouldn't have to change your stereo/gps interface that way.

thanks, my car does actually have a factory installed sub-woofer, so I wasn't planning on upgrading that just yet. I think my factory unit is outputting about 350 watts, and I am leaning towards picking up these speakers:

Can you or someone else verify that the factory system does indeed output 350 watts, and if that is the case, do I still need an amp?
