subs, or you want to get louder. Amps are also used for sound quality. Remember, the more power (not volume wise... watts wise) you have behind a speaker, the better sound it will redproduce.

Guess what... TOUGH ****. Hahaa... just kidding man : ). Ill help ya out. Ok, first, get a sharpie and mark the edge of the Bostons where the mounting hole are in the car. Or vice versa (I myself would rather mark the holes on the placstic of the car). Now, whip out a drill and drill away... actually forget about drilling through the speakers, just do it on the car to match the holes.
Now about the too small issue. How much smaller are they? That can also be a quick fix. Get a peice of ABS plastic and cut a ring out to mount on the car and at the same time, fit that boston speaker. I hope that helps ya out man. I am pm'ing my phone number to you if you need more help. [8D]

Thanks for the P.M. remington, it's much appreciated. Most helpful and friendly forum I have joined!!
Seems I have fixed my problem, just had to drill an extra hole in the speaker, all sounding brilliant and still got my reciever to come!
